If you look at the schedule for this year it has 14 races. Also, look at when the last race is. Checking the AMA for NHS it also look's like LL will be on June 12th. The date Oct 8&9 don't match with the AMA dates for a NHS.

My guess is Florida got dropped because of all the mud. Who knows, though  .

It only had 14 races because they ran the Sparta race twice.

The 2nd Sparta race made it 14 1/2 races for the year. If you look at the schedule for GNCC it has 14 and then 11+ for the 2nd Sparta race. they are going to drop one for next year.

There was 14 races this year because they added TX at the last minute. Sparta 2 does not count.

You left out PA. I think they can find a race in PA before they keep some of the others. There are more riders that went to the PA race then say FL.

I think that some of your places don't match with what is on the AMA website for dates. St. Clairsville will be Oct 8-9. the reason is that Jeff, rita, and some others are AMA congress delegates and they can attend the meeting on Thursday and Friday and still get to the race on Sat and sun. this is what they have done in the past. RP has only been given 2 NHS for next year. One will be the race in Texas in Feb and the other is June 12-13, but the location was not given. We can guess that it will be LL or the Wisp.
Maybe more info will come after this weekend when the riders have a chance to talk at the race to RP about the dates and places.

I am pretty confident the big buck race can be taken off your schedule. and the wisp race will be as close to the same weekend as this year as possible.

Racer Productions, producers of the Grand National Cross Country Series, has revised the 2005 GNCC tentative date schedule that was originally posted at the series website, GNCCRacing.com.

Due to concerns over weather, the previously-announced November 5-6 date will be replaced by a new date, September 10-11. As previously stated, the 2005 GNCC Series will feature 13 rounds of racing.

“After dealing with mud and a lack of daylight at our traditional final race date in October, we decided that racing in November in Indiana is just too big a risk,” said GNCC Trail Boss Jeff Russell. “We don’t want the racers to be stuck in the cold, the snow, or worse, in the dark, by holding a race so late next fall.”

The revised tentative dates for 2005 are as follows:

2005 GNCC Tentative Schedule – 13 Rounds

Feb 12-13
Mar. 5-8
Mar. 12-13
April 2-3
April 16-17
April 30-May 1
May 14-15
June 11-12
June 25-26
Sept. 10-11
Sept. 24-25
Oct. 8-9
Oct. 22-23

Haw!!!! I found it.

This was the reply posted from the track promoter.

The Quad National will be on the Pro Track; the GNCC Series is a separate series (event). There will be a separate track lay-out for the GNCC event. Thanks for your interest, and hope to see you there.

we the gncc'ers will not touch the national track but it's still going too be alot of fun. it would be cool if we could get the crazy motocross crowd for that race.
