Would renthal handlebars be a good investment for my 400ex?

Def. a good investment... they felt awesome on my old 400ex, just dont be too surprised if your steering stem bends before your handlebars on a rollover...

get'em. They are worth the money. You can get them in a bend near your stock bend and width. I've had mine for a few years. Well worth the $.

I have always used renthal bars and I can honestly say that Ive never bent a set yet and Ive been in some burly crashes. You WILL toast your stem though most likely so have a couple spares off ebay on hand...

I rolled my 250ex hard once, bent my steering stem and my stock handlebar. I put renthals on it and then i torched my steering stem, bent it straight and then renforced it. i have rolled my 250ex twice now after i did that, and neither one has bent yet.

Beware!! the Renthals have a tendancy to SNAP right where the crossbar mounts,,,( it has happened to 3 buddies of mine ) the last time it was on a landing, , hurt him pretty good.... Z

What bikes do you guys have that you are bending stems instead of bars. I fliped my KFX400 three times know. One time it flipped two full times. The stock bars were actually touching the front left fender. My steering stem is still good. Do you guys think I was just lucky?

Your stock bars are like...1/8 of the strength renthals are. If you get them and flip 3 times that hard, your gonna bend your stem and not the bars;)
