What exactly are they? I know they prevent flats but what are they and how do they work?

I'd probably still pop all of them in a tire and have to pull in to change out a flat......

Are the worth it? Well lets see in the last 2 races i have ruined 3 rear tires. 2 of them with only 2 races on them. so roughly 210.00 for 3 tires in 2 races, lost positions on the track, yea I would think they are worth it!! now if I can only come up with the money.

I have been running the same front tires all year. They have tons of holes in them, and several slits in the sidewalls. There are a couple of slits over 3 in long.

Tireballs are worth it, zero DNFs this year, and have never had to change a tire.
