OK well im really really wanting to get into racing. I was going to race the tecate but motor problems forced a sale...which i now wish i never sold.
IM set on a ex. Why, cause i already owned one. I know first hand that there is not alot more power difference thena z400, and also cause its still thousands cheaper then a 450r (would never get the yfz...dont ask:rolleyes: )
anyway i kinda got away from hondas after i got rid of my 400ex...but now i was looking and man these little buggers are going DIRT CHEAP:eek2:
anyway im going to get one either end of winter or spring/summer.
Looking for any year 400ex...although 01+ prefer.
since i want to get into racing i would like aftermarket a-arms on...dont care the brand as long as its at least +2.
So what would i be looking to spend (so i know what to save) for a 400ex
with some mods, at least pipe, jet, possibly a 416 motor and a-arms would be a plus.
I have seen ex's with that stuff (416, a-arms, shocks) on ebay ending for about $2100-3500...
im in the northeast what would you say is max price to pay?
