for all who don't know about the swap. I just installed the honda 450 timing chain on my 400ex. Its a thicker chain(more heavy duty). And I'm another person as a witness. Its a true drop in swap. It works great and it was even cheaper than stock.
I said I'd comment when I finished so I am.
The chain seems to be about 1 section wider, or 2 pieces of metal. It is noticeably wider.
One thing I didn't think about was the tensioner sliders, the chain runs in the groove on the slider. I was worried it wouldn't fit. But it did, very close, not much room to spare but it fit.
