hey i hate in winter goin in snow and barely moving when you could be in like 3rd gear, my question is do any of you know good snow tires??

im not rich and ill get the maxxis 4snow tires if there worth it but i might also be riding sand this year so maybe i should get some sand tires and use them for snow?? any info would be great

The maxxis are pretty decent tires, get around pretty good...
The sand tires I think would do okay, but if you get on hard packed snow, your gonna ruin them pretty quick. The sand tires are also quite a ways apart, and I think the maxxis would work better in the long run...

I run a set of 22" Mudmachines on my 300ex for the winter. They are awesome for snow. I get around even through 3' drifts of wet snow. I've tried holeshots, ITP 489's, trail claw II's, and stock 300ex tires and the Mudmachines beat them all for snow and mud. A friend of mine uses them on his banshee year round and is rarely without traction.:eek2:
