any one have a yoshimura full exhaust for the 450r? how do you like it? where did it help in power? i have had yoshi in the past and love them, but i hear only good things about hmf. what should i go with? are the gains about the same?

I am in love with my HMF, the thing is gorgeous and its fit and finish were 100%. I havent ever ridden one with yoshi but i can tell you that mine is a total animal. I dont think it will really matter in the end as they are great products from great companies.

HMF hands down. 1/2 the price, better sound, and a better range of power...you decide.

half the price? i bet i paid less for my Yoshi full system.;)
$430.00
if you look at the dyno sheets on both the are about the same.
Yoshi billion dollar company lots of money and time in r&d.
HMF thousand dollar company not near as much time or money in r&d
you pick:o

Ive got a 04 450r with a full yosh carbon tri-oval. The system is made as nice as they come and I only paid $450 for the full thing. It added power through the whole power band and it pulls hard.

I have 1 word for you guys......

 SPARKS:devil:

MUUAHAHHAA!

Just messing around....both pipes are good, I've heard more good things from the HMF. Havent really heard a lot from the Yoshi exhaust....they work well on the YFZ and Z400 though.

Cant go wrong with either....i'm partial to HMF because we've had success with them in the past along with Sparks.

430???? you can get a HMF slip on for 210 bucks and get the same, if not better results, and make it sound better. i dont know, i was never a big fan of yoshi pipes.

FULL system and i have carbon fiber, how much is there carbon fiber slip on?. there slip on makes less power then there full system. the yoshi dyno sheet looks very close to the HMF full system. if you are going to do other mods to the motor get the full system. besides the hmf looks like every other pipe on the market (round) and if you get it p/c it changes color.
