What you all think is it worth it to get bike ported for $265? Will include some vavle work also.

I got my 416ex ported with a kibble white valve job. I noticed a significant power gain and it deff had alot better pull top end. I really dont think its worth it unless your a full out racer and what all the horsepower you cant get. Thanks Mike400 for doing a sweet job on my motor!!

It really depends on the person doing the port work...do they know what they are doing? Look at it this way if the person has put out good port work on your application and is charging $265 then go for it. If it's Cooter with his dremel tool you might as well fllush the money down the toilet.

I wouldnt spend 265. Talk to GT thunder they will clean your ports up (ie remove casting marks and some material more for xc racing) and install new valve seals for arround $ 100.

Woke my warriors *** up real quick. It has big ports already but they are rough and have casting marks. My ports are beautiful and only the exhaust it polished. But, my cousin did it for free as long as I became his ***** and serviced his customers cars, oil changes, trans and diff included. Thats how I got all my motor work done, so I didn't have to pay anything. Lots of orders, lol.
