I have got a 1999 yamaha blaster. It is bored 40 over with a brand new wesco piston and brand new rings. It was 18 inch turf tamers on the back. There are 2 big yamaha stickers on the front fenders. The rest of the bike is stock. I bought it brand new in August of 2000 and I've only ever trail riden it. It is very well taken care of. I just changed all of the rear bearings in it too. It's garage kept, and in the winter, I start it atleast 3 or 4 times a week and let it run untill it will idle by its self with the choke off. It is a really great and quick machine. I am just looking to get something a little bit bigger to set up and race with. I am looking to sell this for about $2500.00 obo, or I will consider trading it for a 250X, 250R, 300EX, 400EX, Banshee, and if you want to trade, but you want more money for your quad than what you think mine is worth, let me know and maybe we can work somthing out.

No offense and this is constructive criticism only so please don't flame but I think you're asking a little too much for your Blaster. These bikes list for $3100 and are often bought out-the-door for under $3000, putting the price of a brand new one only $100 or so above what you're asking for your 2 year old quad. Something around $2200 might be a more realistic price range.

hey GuyLT250R
no offense taken. I know what you are saying. I was thinking about $2200 or so when i was first thinking of sellin it, but a guy I know that used to work as a mechanic in a wheeler shop told me to list it as $2500 obo to try and get as much out of it as I could. If someone wants to make an offer of $2200, they can, I'm not to strict on the price I put up, I am very willing to make any kind of deal. But thanks for the input.

Blasters don't have a very good resale value. I could probably drop my blaster for like only $700 if i took off my mods. A guy I know has a 2000 blaster with only 4 hours on it for $1800.
