main jet

Wondering what size the stock main jet is in the 450r? I bought a White Brothers e-series slip on and lost the main jet that came with it. Also, are the jets round or octagon? I am going to but a 165 jet, anyone out there done this to a 450r yet? How do you like it? Lastly, did you have to change the gas, to air mixture? Thanks.

The jets are a hex head. I just put a HMF full system on mine with a 125 main. I had the air box lid on. The air screw is set to 2.5 turns out. www.trx450r.org has some good info for jetting.

The stock main jet is a 118. I put t trinity racing pipe on my quad with a k&n filter and a 188 main jet withot the airbox lid .It runns fine.You might just have to put the 165 main with the airbox lid off. You'll know if its not getting any air it will bog when u hit the gas.
