hey this thread is kinda for me so i can get some ideas for my moto 400ex that just needs a facelift.. also you can show people some of your creativeness... so post pics of your 400 and lets see whos got the best

Naah, I am now running ITP Holeshots...those bandits were freebies and work real well in the open desert, but that's it.

i dont know what its called...i think its called the shrouds or somethign but that area under the gas tank that is yellow on those quads but black on the stock ones, do they come with the race plastics or can you buy them seperately?

those are side panels...if you buy aftermarket plastic than most likely the made it part of the front plastic...one whole peice

I think I might have a contender, but I don't know how to post pics off my computer. Here is some of the specs;

Engine
-426 High compression piston
-Hardened rod
-Ported and Polished
-XR 400 dirtbike Cam
-Full chrome LRD exhaust
-High rev box, K&N intake
-The entire motor is professionally polished
with all stainless steel nuts and bolts

Frame
The main frame is a 2 stage powdercoat
1st stage is high metallic silver
2nd stage is candy blue
The subframe has all the extra un-used brackets
cut off and is Chrome plated
-A-arms are Chrome Denton racing +2+1
-Swingarm is chrome +4 tucker racing
-All the handle bar parts are RMW Billet
and have flame design

My practice/back-up race 416ex. Actually used it at yesterdays race since my yfz is being torn apart and i won 1st overall! I like this bike. For some who do not regonize it at all, this used to be EX80s old 416. I got it with the shocks, a arms, swinger, axle and what not. I bought the axis with the bike, have burgard a arms on it, lsr, added razr mxs all around, sold the yoshi, and have a HMF polished shorty coming this week, and i should have the swiner back this week in the same red as the a arms. Ill keep clean updated pics when its done this week.

Ps. excuse the ductape. i needed front numbers yesterday and had 30sec. to get numbers on there. had a 3, but no 8s.

I can also tell the difference between standard travel-416 and long travel-yfz. If you have the money, get LT. I would have but for an extra 800 bucks, i got the 3 axis worth over 2,000 new!:blah:

hey do you have any other pics of your quad? i am pretty much doing the exact setup, +2 front end,axle, got beadlocks, and im doing a black and yellow color scheme. id like to see any other angles just to see how mine is going to look. also if there is a certain name to the yellow your hubs are, let me know

yeah i'm going for the black and yellow scheme too. i want to get my frame pced a gloss black but i don't have the money right now. as for the hubs, i picked up some yellow spray paint at wal-mart by rustoleum or something like that. i can check the can and see what the name is. here is one other pic i have. i can take more if needed.
