Whats this on the motor?

What is this cone looking thing that sticks out on the rear left side of the motor (head or cylinder). It looks like it is some kind of block off, probably has function on dirt bike? J/W any way, let me know.

Sorry for not being clear. In this pic it is right under the motor mount off of the cylinder. It probly is the tensioner. I dont have one yet (hopefully this weekend) but i noticed it at the dealer and was wondering what it was.
