Fast 250x?

Is there any way i could get my 250x up in the 70mph range?If so wha mods could i make?It is complty stock right now.Thanks

well, if you dont want to purchase a 400ex you should try to do the basics....
1. Install an aftermarket AirFilter (Uni of K&N)
2. Get a FULL exhaust
3. Jet the Carbeurator
4. Try different size sprockets (im really not sure EXACTLY what size)

Well, hopefully these ideas will make you feel faster, but still no where close to 70mph. Good Luck

ur probably gonna need a big bore and cam it would be best to find a used 400ex u will go that fast nd get handlin for the same amount of money...

Any machine can go 70 MPH, but it wouldnt get there fast.
Ypu could put the biggest front sprocket , and the smallest rear sprocket, and you'll get there :)
But, no way would anyone do that, because it wouldnt have any bottom.It would suck in the woods too.(definately)

i know it wont go 70 but how do i get to aleast 65. what will a 310 to 350 big bore kit do?

Kill your reliabiliy. I think a cam, .080 over piston, higher compression, and full exhaust and then you could increase your countershaft sprocket by 1 or 2 teeth. I dont think its worth it tho.

i have seen fast 250xs before, like 425 bigbores tho
