Mojave topend rebuild instructions

anyone know ware i can get this information, i need somthing that tells me the timing and all that what not.

If someone has a manuel could they scan it, or have a site on this information?

any help greatly appreciated, i have the valve cover off and i dont want to go any farther until i have more instructions.

it's not that hard. put the piston on TDC and look at the cams if i remember right the locater indentations(circles) should be at 9 and 3 even with the head where the valve cover seals. everything else is pretty straight forward.

do not set you cams at 9 and 3. it will be WRONG. set EX cam timing mark to 9 or even with the head (should be the same) start counting the pins in the chain. #1 pin will be the first pin after the timing mark. the second timing mark will fall between the 43rd and 44th pins. this is where you set the intake cam.

so the exhaust cam circle should be even with the head?

Yes.the circle will be pointing forward even with the head.
