rims

im fairly new to MX and am going to buy some new kenda klaws, i want to keep my stock tires on my stock rims so i can use those when i go trail riding, my question is, Will I be ok with some douglas .190 red label rims or will i need rolled edge or beadlock rims? thanks!

Everyone has an opion on rims, here is mine. I had Douglas .190 I use them as spare rims now. I run ITP T-9 Baja rims. The rings work well for me. I ride woods, trails, hare scramble type terrain. I do not do MX so, I do not know if these work well in an MX application.

With all the rocky terrain a rolled edge or rings are a plus. With regular rims with out rings rocks/roots/stumps bend the **** out of them.
