My clutch lever on my 300ex has 2 wires going to it, what are those for and would a 350x clutch lever be the same way. Also, when i put my quad in gear, pull the clutch lever (on the motor) all the way out, i can push the quad, but there is a lot of resistance. Anybody know why it is doing this.

those 2 wires are the clutch saftey switch or something....when u get a new perch you can just cut the wires then tie them together and you can start in any gear like you can do now....if you dont tie the wires you have to find neutral everytime you wanna start

No, the 350x does not ned those wires.
I did the 350x conversion last winter and just used a CRF 450R perch and lever that I got on ebay for like 5 bucks.

The CRF450R perch also has the decompression lever. I can't remember which decompression cable I used. If I remember, i will let you know.
