yup we did the initmidator. josh busted a heel clicker over it and i hit it about 5 times. thank god we both came away unscathed. it was a very fun day riding with dirtbikes and showing them that quads are just as capable. it was awesome riding with the Renegade crew. see you all next year.

congrats! good job guys, about time you steped it up j/k:D

is it alot easer then it looks? most jumps are if you make it the first time.

um it is really, i was doing it 3rd half, and i thought i wasnt comming down, it is seiously the most hangtime ive ever recieved from a jump. creamer was doing it in 4th bog. alot of guys got it on tape and stuff so soon there will be footage.

it was so funny tho, saturday we were up there watching the bikes go over it and we swore wed never jump that thing. pfff i guess were a couple of hipocrites lol

911 i doubt youll see it at neatv next year. i am quitin that jump while im ahead, creamer says the same. after seein joe, we thought well we did, its on camera, and just about every dirtbike rider there saw it. so were set.

yea we are lucky to be safe. that is a dangerous leap.

WOW, as soon as any one gets pics or video online let us know. I have Joes crash on tape and thats huge air. I can only imagine what you guys were thinking the frist time you hit it, right before you got air born.

i heard from one of my firends that quads were hittin it yesterday. btw will there be an open practice where quads can ride like there is every year?

sick!

lets see the vid....i was seriously contemplating hitting that jump because i got screwed on the start of open c and really didnt care where i finished as long as it wasnt dead last didnt really wanna end up like joe either lol lets see the video ...the scariest part of it looks to be the hangtime and the thing i was worried about is u cant see the landing until ur at the top of the jump and u have no depth perspective of where the top of the hill is so your just basically going at it on memory of how far it is lol....pretty sketchy but def a jump thatll give u a big *** rush

ramp rida 55
10-11-2004, 01:23 PM
i thought theyd get mad if you did it in a race because they yell at young dirtbikers for doing it. they make them wait till they move up a class or 2

NTPRacing#19
10-11-2004, 03:13 PM
yea but this jump is not an advantage. just to do it to say you did it really. you dont make any time doing it, its been proven. thats why its an issue up there. its an unessesary risk to take. and yea we were stupid enough to take it

ive heard of them getting pissed at stupid kids on 80cc dirtbikes doing it cause you know how accident prone they are. personally i think they should build a nice big 80-90ft table on one of those straight aways ;)

Nice job guys. I wish I was there to see it. I figured if anyone else would do it on a quad it would be Josh, but I guess you've got the coconuts to do it too! :D Looks like I'll have to step it up next year!

This is Josh Creamer, that jump was the biggest ive ever been in the air before, i know it doesnt make time and i just wanted to do it. Its not safe and i wouldnt recommend anyone doin it.

So Troylee, u may think it woulda made you get above last place in that moto, but its not an easy jump, one mistake and your gonna be hurtin.

Just because me and eldon did it doesnt mean all you guys can make it, it is a very serious jump and only the very experienced can handle it. If you saw some of the stuff me and eldon have done then you probably would understand why we went for it.

Just want to keep everyone safe.

After Joe hit it, my friend #81 in pro am 250 said, "the only other 2 i can see doing it are eldon and creamer" looks like he was right. I can not wait to see the picture of you above it clicking your heals.:eek2: hopefully that will be one of the pics.

I've wanted to jump that ever since I first saw it, but the truth is I have a wife and kid plus I bring home the bread. I've already been there with a broken arm, I though it was the coolest thing till the bill piled up. its been 2 years and there still not paid off.
I am 100% positive I would make it but you will never see me do it.

so props to you guys!

666 i respect you very much for that decision and you are very responsible. i know you and prolly some other guys would do it if they didnt have the responsibilities of raising and supporting a family.

josh is right, this jump is not for most. we do not want to start something or a trend of people triing it next year at NEATV-MX. we did it sunday becuase we knew we were ready for it.

:p i think thats water....the rock ledge is the part of the landing that sticks out

NTPRacing#19
10-18-2004, 03:25 PM
yea that was mud shining there. but the ledge is like 2 inches under that, there was a small square foot exposed the day we did it.
