I agree pictures without helmets should be deleted. It makes our sport look bad

I think helmets are like seat belts, it shouldn't be a rule that you have to wear one. But if you get in a wreck and need medical help that could have been avoided with a helmet or seatbelt insurance shouldn't have to pay. I say screw it....wear what you want it's your life.

That is Sand Mountain in Jericho - near Delta Utah. You are looking at what they call the razorback and behind that where the people are riding is actually the less steep side. The face is to the left out of the picture and is even steeper. Great place to race and see who's king of the hill.

Jericho is one of the campgrounds in the dunes. Many people use different names. It's Little Sahara, Utah. This pic is of Sand Mtn. The quads are on the side called the "Valley".

in pennsylvania it's the law that you have to wear your seatbelt but motorcyclists dont have to wear a helmet ??????
The way people are driving anymore i may start wearing a helmet along with my seatbelt hahah

if people don't want to wear helmets on quads thats their choice. If they don't want to wear them on street bikes thats their choice. If you dont want to wear a seat belt thats your choice (even though it is the law)
Now that I'm gettn a little older though it makes me sick when i hear of someone getting injured or even worse because of not wearing a helmet or other safety gear that could have prevented it. Even with the best protection we can buy we are still vulnerable and its just my belief that one should wear whatever they can to protect themselves.
A helmet can make the difference between a headache or a split open skull, knee protection can mean the difference between a sore knee or one that may never work right again. A chest protector can make the difference between a sore chest and a punctured lung.
Sure some of those examples are extreme but their is a reason that stuff is made. IT WORKS !!
I wear a helmet, knee guards, and a kidney belt. I'll be getting a chest protector, 661 neck roll, and maybe some elbow guards next. I also am gearing my workouts more towards a strong neck, back and abdomen and even with all that protection it is still a dangerous sport I just want to take every precaution I can
just my 2 cents
