Forgot to look and see when this post was but. oh well. Colorado rider here also. I trail ride all over from Denver all the way up I-70 to the divide. Lots of good places to drop the ramp and take off. I like stopping in on the pay tracks around Denver also like Erie, Berthod, and that one off c-470 by the mountains. My favorite place so far is PMI motersports off highway 50 in Pueblo. I really would like to here of anyone finding some good sand dunes in Colorado.

Just got back from Grand Lake trails. I'm going to have to go back. I spent 6 hrs there trail riding diferent trails. and I don't think I covered a fraction of them. I'll bring the cam next time it is pretty sweet for trail riding. Today we storm the track at walten for the first time. Next weekend back to PMI.

Hey, CO riders - depending on what you're looking for, there are a TON of places to ride in CO. I'm still trying to find all the good places, but I've been to PMI, Rainbow Falls, Painted Rocks, Rampart Range, Empire, etc. Lots of places off of I-70, and I've heard that there are dunes up on the north end of the state near Walden. Haven't been there yet, but plan on going probably in the early spring.

If you REALLY want to find good riding buddies, try checking out the Colorado QuadRunners ATV club - they're located in Denver right now, and they're opening a chapter in Colorado Springs this week (Wednesday, September 18th) - check out www.coloradoquadrunners.org for more details. Membership is dirt cheap and you really get to know good people and good trails.

Western Colorado here. Grand Suction. For trails you can try Vega State Park near Colbran. It's quite good. Or the Uncompagre National Forest outside of Montrose.

Man...every year me and my best friend come up too Red Feather Lakes on Memorial Weekend. That place is the sh*t! For all of you CO riders...how are the Walden dunes? Are they worth pulling 2 quads for 600 miles...we will be there already just maybe not with the quads!

Hey - I'm in CO, too - Colo Springs - been to PMI a few times, Rampart, St Mary's Glacier, etc.

I've also heard that you can ride the dunes in Walden up by the Wyoming border - I haven't been there yet, but I want to go this summer.

** Quadbiker - just saw that you didn't recommend Walden - can I ask why? Might help me plan a trip. . .thanks!!

You can find some places to ride at www.coloradoquadrunners.org - lots of good info for Front Range riders there. . .
