Weak Spark, running rough at full throttle

I have a very weak spark on my LT500, the CDI, coil, and stator are registering the right amount of ohms. It runs rough at and close to full throttle when dragging or whatever. Also, after you have ridden it and shut it off it doesn't start back up or I have a hard time starting it, its easier to start up cold. The spark splug is golden brown, idles fine. Could this be the stator? I heard a stator can give inconsistent readings.

i would try a new plug first and see if it helps.
also make sure the plug wire is in good shape and isnt jumping spark anywhere. crank it up when its dark and see if you can see a spark jumping anywhere.

if that doesnt work then move on to the ignition control module and such. i dont know of anyway to actually test it to tell if its bad.you just have to rule out all the other small stuff first to tell if its that or not.
