i just got some douglas rims, and when i went to take them off to put my stock ones back on they would not come off. because the nuts that hold them on, cut into the rim and made them where they will not come off of the bolt. is there suppose to be a washer or something that will not make it do that.

when you put aftermarket rims on like douglas that dont have a lip on the hole, you need to put the lug nuts on backwards with the flatside of the nut going up against the rim. good luck trying to get the rims off i'm sure there on there pretty good and tight.

Keep wiggling the rim until it comes loose........or put the lug nuts back on (just a few threads, not tight) and beat the studs through the rim & out of the spindle............then go buy some new studs.

use a dremel or die grinder to reshape the inside of the holes in the rims.

I just about lost a dune tire because the lugnuts have to go on backwards and nothing holds them right. Oh well. The lugnut was on the very last thread too.:p
