Smaller chain with smaller front

I ordered a 520-94 link chain if I go with a 14 tooth sprocket should i take a link out of my chain? I ride mostly on a track and tight trails so the 14 tooth sprocket makes more sence. I live in NJ our riding spots are limited. Thanks

well it all depends on if the chain is to long or not.

if it's to long take it out. if you can get it tight enough don'T take it out.
