What octane to use????

my brother and i will be doing some winter upgrading for next year race season and were wondering what octane to use with the upgraded motor mod: weisco11:1 piston kit, Gt thunder rev box, hot cams stage 2. these mods will be added to:
k&n filter
pro circuit slip on
158 main jet
40 pilot jet
clip on throttle needle in center slot
EHS racing air box lid
header welds ground down
currently running on 97 octane and wonderting if that is enough or should go higher please help....

well that should be good engouh,if you go about 11:1 compression you would want to go higher....what is the highest octane avaiable to you?i would say if you have 99 or something go with that just to be on the safe side

97 should be plenty for 11:1

I am the brother that is talked about here, and we have up to 114 avaibable to us right now. What we have been doing is mixing an amount of super unleaded with race gas to acheive the 97 octane. All we would have to do is mix in a little more race gas, and we would be all set. So somewhere around 97 -100 octane would be perfect for the setup then?
