350x clutch bracket

Does anybody know where the the clutch cable bracket goes. To me it looks like the cable gets routed on the right side of the engine, but i don't know where the bracket goes.

yea it bolts to the top of the case of the engine like right directly under the carb..you will see 2 bolts holes 1 right after another..let me know if you need pics..

Maybe a clutch cable bracket, i don't know if mine is the right one.

'85 bracket bolts to one of the upper case bolts on the right side of the motor.
'86 bracket is alot better it goes around behind the cylinder
underneath the carb.

It looks like it bolts on the right side, but then the cable rubs on the oil line that goes to the cylinder head.

The 85 goes down the other and pulls to the front on the arm the 86 sort of pulls to the side on the arm.

When i have my bracket bolted up, the cable wraps around that bolt for the oil line and i don't, something don't seem right.

you must have it bolted on the wrong side of the motor..Look at this guys first pics..there is no oil line anywhere close to the bracket or in the line of the cable..

My motor is the same one that's in the second picture, and the cable is rubbing on that bolt that is sticking out in his picture.

the 86 went down the left and under the carb accross the motor first pic

the 85 went down the right side seconed pic


if your cable is rubbing bend the bracket some.work with it see wht you come up with.

Thats what I am saying..you have it bolted to the wrong side of the engine from what I can tell..The clutch brackets bolts to the stator cover..not the clutch cover..All the oil line stuff is on the clutch cover side..so if you have it bolted to the stator cover there is no way it could be rubbing any oil lines..
