ok if you can help pla do.

ok i need to adjust my valves on my r but i herd the design for the r is a lot different than others. and i didn't know if i would need different tools also. and what is all different about the design

it's a "shim & bucket" design. You will need replacement shims. Go to servicehonda.com and download the .pdf file......it lists part #'s for all the shim sizes available.

the easiest and best thing for you to do it just take it and have it serviced at a dealership.

I thought the valves dont need to be adjusted like on the 400ex? Someone clarify

SURE THEY HAVE TO BE ADJUSTED YOU CAN DO IT BUY BOOK AND BUY THE B OXES OF SHIMS (2) FOR $70 BUCKS GOOD DEAL!!!

http://www.hotcamsinc.com/ they sell shims in sets for around $35.00 5 shims in each size in .05 increments (5 total sizes)
