Things you carry with you on the trail

Im going on a 2 day trail ride in Daniel Boone National Forest next thursday and friday and am looking for good things to carry with me on the trail, and was wondering what all of you carry with you when your on the trail.

I always have a gatorade in the front part of me frame.

-mountian dew held to the front w/ bungi cords
-skoal
-another mountian dew
-extra spark plug
-fix a flat
-tire plug

I thought they didn't alllow riding in the forest now? Maybe it's just our area, but everyone says rangers have been writing up tickets.

I usually carry plenty of water, fix a flat, ropes for towing

the usual,
tow rope, fix a flat(i prefer slim myself), water but especially gas! cant get anywhere with out that!

gotta have the skoal huh? skoal is weak get some copenhagen that is the real stuff.

are you like camping out? If so get a big duffle and tie it on to the back of your seat/grab bar with a little tarp or very small tent for shelter, sleeping bag, food (easy mac or romain noddle are sweet for backpacking, with a lil stove they cook fast) If your just ridng and going back to camp tow rope, slime, so way to inflate tire, plug, extra oil, carry water with you. (take all the stuff with you if your "backpacking" as well, i also bring fixaflat in the duffle its easier to use out in the middle of nowhere but does screwup your tire eventually)

im staying in the cliffview resort area and renting a cabin and riding on the part of the forest they own its pretty nice down there. thanks for the suggestions keep em coming oh and im not camping im staying in a cabin

yea i breing my camera with me everywhere i got a handy lil pouch thing u wear round ur neck u don even notice plus u can put other stuff in it

Plenty of water , a knife ( can be used in MANY situation) , first aid kit ( you can get one of those small ones that attatch around your waist) , rope .

Call me dumb or whatever , but I always carry a belt with me .... no not a drive belt ... but the kind to keep your pants around your waist . The reason being , it's VERY useful for different things . It also probably saved my life .... makes for a good tourniquet in case you happen to take a tumble and maybe slice a major blood vesel . Helped save me from bleeding to death when I had my accident .

i used to think like that to but peer pressure gets the best of oyu and know im hooked . im trying to quit tho buts its probably the the hardest thing to quit in the world.

ive got a pvc pipe on the front of my quad with tire patches, c02 tire filler, spark plugs and wrenches for the plugs and other stuff, a pocket knife is always in my pocket and the cell phone ALWAYS goes with me, you never know whats gunna happen when ya go out

ive seen a few people with this setup before but never any close up pics. do you have any and how exactly did you make it like what size pipe did you use
