250x to a 400ex

Hey has anyone ever put a 400ex engine into a 250x frame. If they have what kinda mods would i have to do to do it as moutning the pipe or that batterie what did they do. Ok jsut wondering cuz i was thinking of trying it ne help plez thanx.

Why not just find a good 350X engine? One little mod and it bolts right in! The 400ex swap would be a job!:eek:

well i'm kinda set on a 400ex engine becuse i'm gunna get a great deal on it and i like the idea of the electric start instead of a kickstart.

well what do you think i would have to modify

id get the 400ex engine, resell it (sure you could get a good amount of $) and get a 350X engine... they sell a electric start conversion for them,
