Alright, here is the deal,
My fat *** was trying to pull my friends fat *** on a heavy broken down quad up a hill. After about 2 minutes I smell that "I just messed up my clutch smell". Now the clutch is totally shot, or at least I thought it was the clutch until I found this web site. I have read threads that suggest it could be a clutch cable adjustment issue. The clutch lever did feel quite different after the tow athon up the hill, but it just does'nt seem like the clutch cable would go out of adjustment that quick. I was having to ride the clutch when I was pulling him to keep from flipping backwards. Any help would be great, also what brand clutch does everyone recommend if it turns out I have to replace it?
