Check it out. I did this in about fourtyfive minutes.
The pic is kinda poor. It shines alot more than the pic shows.

I like anything shiny.
What did you give to have those all chromed?

I have the ability to make the aluminum shine like chrome but then you are always shining it.

so far i've polished my throtle cover, front master cylinder cover, oil dipstic, a select amount of the oil filter cover, and the front valve cover. I intend to do the whole front master cylinder, whole throttle, and side cases(they will be far in the future)

I am waiting till the next oil change for the oil filter cap.
You polished the tank? Hard to tell in the pic, looks almost coated.
I was thinking of P/C on it. I need to get my header P/C'd too.
I did my motor mounts yesterday before the going to the races. And am making a list of things to shine when it is raining too hard to ride.

Soggyrider,,,

yeah my tank is polished,,,it is a pingry that i polished out. Powder coating your stock tank will cause it to retain a little heat but not that much really...and there are powdercoatings now for headpipes,,,,i just did some for a race car to see how it holds up......i will get a pic of my tank later....
