yfz stock exhaust pipe

well one of my friends(not really cause i don't like) he has cut 3 inches off the end of his exhaust pipe and i was woundering would that help out with anything like with power and stuff like that and his quad is all stock

yea some say it helps on the low end and mid:)

I run my stocker - I cut it down to 6 1/2 inches and took all the baffles out - put the endcap back on - the thing is awesome!!! I won't be buying an aftermarket system - I like the power and sound I get from the stock pipe mod. ;)

Yes I did - but I also put in the ESR intake kit when I did the pipe mod......with that much more airflow, I had to rejet it. I don't know if you would have to with the stock pipe being modified.....you might.

yfzs run lean completely stock when we take a break night ridin my friends head pipe on his yfz is glowin bright red and he wants to take the baffle out but he has to get the jets cause it runs way lean with the baffle out do u have a pic of the pipe
