Lol!

I'm just trying to motivate you. If you lived closer you could borrow the old xlt.

I hope you make a full recovery. If you seen how bad garth kaufman broke his leg in slednecks 4(jumping the house), you would't believe he was back out racing within a year. I think in due time, you will be fine.

Start saving for that Rev:cool:

Start saving for that Rev:cool: Ya i seen that crash ... and there was another one ... I can't remember the riders name but he was doing a road jump and came up short ..... he landed right into the steel guard rail and broke his leg the same way I broke mine . His wasn't as shattered but still badly broken .... it took him 8 months to recover but the next year he was out riding again . It's good motivation . I'm seriously thinking about switching to sledding , if I'm able to ride again in the future . The sport is just starting to get big , just like Motocross and FMX has become . Theres a LOT more opportunities for a guy to make it in the sport of sledding than there is in ATV racing .

The REV fund has already started ... got a few thousand put away , but if I'm able to ride , I might have a REALLY good chance of getting help and sponsorship through the company I work for ..... Bombardier/ Ski-Doo is on snowcross teams main sponsor

Oh yeah ... just to let you know , they are calling for snow flurries in my area tonight . It won't stay on the ground , but it's a sure sign winter is around the corner .... for the last week we've had to scrape the frost off our vehicle windows in the morning .

Backflips are nothing on sleds anymore! Quinlin has been doing them like crazy, or so it seems latley. Here is a video clip of my friend Chad doing a superman at a local riding place. Lets just say it didn't end up so well:o

I guess it snowed a little bit in the UP this morning they were saying on michigansnowmobile.com message boards. I have a cabin lined up south of Munising that my Grandpa's cousin owns. So I'm finally gonna get to sled North of the bridge this winter. I can't wait.

BTW: Backflips were accomplished on sleds a couple of years ago. It's suprising considering their weight, but if there's a will, there's a way;)

Thats an awsome video. It takes A LOT of guts to throw one of those things around in the air like that and I give them a lot of credit :eek2:

It does take guts to do it , but from personal experience I find it alot easier to throw a sled around than it is to throw an atv around . The inertia of the track spinning really helps to move the sled in the air . And now with these newer style sleds with different riding position and weight balance , it's a LOT easier . I had the chance to try the REV platform the first year they came out , and it took me about 20 minutes to adapt to the riding style , but once I was adapted , it's by far the best position to ride . With a set of heavy duty riding boots ... those simular to snowboarding boots .... you jam your feet into the front of the runningboards and they ARENT comming off in mid air . Can't wait till next winter ..... '06 REV will be in my garage .

For some more vids

Yukon powder hounds.

It snowed here monday for a little bit, then turned into rain and hail. Yeah, what happened to that guy on the shee??? Did it hit that kid too?

My srx is all ready to go, all I need is free time and some snow. Snowmobiles are the funnest offroad vehicle to jump, including bikes and atv's. If you wipe out its more forgiving then dirt, or sand even.

I've gone close to 100ft (in distance) on the xlt. Busted off the rod that held up the ifs. Was an easy fix though. I landed nice and flatt too, not sure why it broke. Haven't broke anything on the srx yet.

Lol, I have seen a few. Some guys used pop rivets and sheet metal for a fix.

The sledporn2 teaser is pretty good, not sure if anyone downloaded it or not.

Im gunna have to add that one to my list ... never heard of Yukon Powder Hounds before , nor the Sled Porn series . A must for the collection and a must mention at our company meetings .

One day I'll make it out to the Rockies and ride some SIC powder . I've done a bit of powder riding in some back country but nothing like that in the video. What I love about sledding , as you seen in the clip , the dude bails off the sled and the sled lands upside down ... no damage . Now if that would have been a quad and on dirt .... you'd be replacing a few things .

I did hit a tree stump one year while riding through a field and it did a bit of damage to the control arms of the sled .... nothing a pipe and a bit of muscle couldn't fix .

I haven't done any real deep powder riding yet, just deep snow.

I have gotten stuck a few times too. I'd love to try powder riding sometime also.

"the dude bails off the sled and the sled lands upside down ... no damage . Now if that would have been a quad and on dirt .... you'd be replacing a few things . "

Thats what I like about it too. Pluss it doesn't hurt unless its packed snow or ice when you fall.

Lol, watch out for those stumps
:D
