OMF Air scoops??????????

Do the Air scoops for the 400 actually do anything, or or they just for show pretty much??? I love the way they look, but dont really want to buy two pieces of sheet metal with a name on them, if they dont really help.... whats your opinion????:huh

I THINK THEY HELP A LITTLE! THEY DO DIRECT AIR IN ONTO THE OIL COOLER AND ENGINE! BUT THEY ARE NOT GONNA COOL THE ENGINE DOWN THAT MUCH
