how long does the 440 kit last before you have to rebuild it again, and are there any special precautions i should take?

make sure u change ur oil every 3 rides. wtach for oil by passes. and proper break in

30 minutes..make sure its proper though. same speed through every gear

i hear alot blowing head gaskets when they install a 440 kit what will i have to do in case that happens and why does it happen?

if it blows, take it to the shop and tell them your head gasket blew. they'll replace it

The head gasket usualy blows due to the cylinder studs. Just make sure you get the heavy duty stud kit.

I have the 440 kit, I am not sure if there are big studs for the cylinder or not. when I got my quad the 440 kit was already in it and it leaked. I went with the metal gaskets from triple-R motorsports and they claim to not leak. I ran it all through last year and raced it. and it never leaked. I have been sold on these ever since. Phone number is 1 608-776-8230 . When you put your motor together, use sealant instead of a base gasket, you will gain a little compression and power.
