anybody use Tech 6's for quads?

i need new boot and the new Tech 6 looks pretty cool.

I love mine, I have the old style ones from last year. Make sure you keep your eyes open for deals tho. On mine i got a set of shift assault pants, jersey and golves. Because i paid full price for them.

They are the first riding i've used and they took some time getting comfortable with. The fit great, no real 'breaking in' like some say, but had to move the shift lever up a notch or two. After riding with these 'real' boots, I don't feel feel comfortable riding with regular work boots anymore. Much more support with the riding boots.:)

i have them and i dont really have problems with them shifting, but they are a little stiff, but i guess its better than flimsy.

I use Tech 6's and i love them. i cant afford the tech 8's but the 6's are pretty much just as good. they are very stiff at first but once you get them beat in a lil they are awesome. lol my only problem is my size 15 boot lol hard to find em

I won't ride without my Tech 6. I had some MSR World Tours, got in a wreck and ruptured my Achillies Tendon. Probably wouldn't have happened if I had Techs on. You get what you pay for when it comes to gear. They are stiff, but easy to get used to. I actually find them comfortable and the stiffness is reassuring for my leg, because my tendon is still not 100%.

i tried on a pair of tech 4's, walked around and put em bak on the shelf. tried on tech 8's walked around and put em bac on the shlf because of price. the tech 6's are comofortable and reasonably priced. they are a great boot.

I'd definately buy the tech 6's again, they fit so much better on my foot than the 8's.. damned booty is irritating! Awesome, awesome boot, I love how supportive it is, really reasuring.

ok, first problem i have had with my tech 6's in 2 years. i busted a buckle!!!:macho . but that just gives me a reason to get tech 8 buckles because they are metal buckles rather than plastic.

the tech 8's have the metal heel guard, which in my opinion is absolutly stupid becuase i dont know how many pairs ive seen of them smashed into someones heel.
the rubber heel guard on the tech 6's is just as strong and wont smash into your heel.
