elka shock ?'s

i just finished putting a set of new elkas econo models tripple rate's on with jd +3 arms and it feels like its too soft. i had ordered them for my weight(290lbs)and the box says that too. are they supose to be soft or what?its 10:30 sat night so i cant call them so just wondering if anyone could let me know. thanks

Set the proper ride hieght, which would be about 8 inches with you on the quad. The shocks also are probably set to full soft on the compression.
