OK I ask you guys what to buy and we have settled on a TRX 90.

My next step is where to get the best deals on parts? All the mags we get don't show 90 parts in there ads.

Do you guys cut the fenders?
Go to aluminum wheels?
Change sprocket sizes?

I figure we will do a pipe, filter, & jet kit to get started.

Thanks for the help.

i cut my brothers fenders on his 90 and hes got 18in razr mx rear tires on itp rims and its definitly cool. the place we bought the rims from sent us the wrong offset so it rubbed the exaust until there was a hole on it but hes getitng a new quad next year so we arent gonna go crazy on anymore modding. ill take a pic or two of it if youd like

our 90 is well....a honda:D

we give up a touch of top speed to the 2 stroke 90's but that hasnt hurt us too bad.

we run elka front shocks, with a works rear, the aftermarket cdi and a big gun pipe (c&d racing has a special right now on dmc pipes) Burgard Cycle keeps us in rims with thier reinforced fronts (rears will be done the next time i change tires) we run the 19'' ITP holeshots up front and Maxxis stock eton 90 rear tires. 1'' wheel spacers front and rear gives us a bit better stability at high speed cornering.

winter plans will be determined by the outcome of the GNCC series...and the rules they set forth.

Thanks for the help pappy.
C&D has already given me a quote on some prices. I am going to get most of our stuff from them.

Check out motopsychoracing.com and look at Tyler Whitmires rider profile and then his pics page this is what a trx mod should look like.

thats a pretty cool 90!

the problem we are running into with a dual arm set up is that we have to keep the quad narrow. im no expert but i have asked about the problems with a dual arm set up and have been told its not worth it for what we are doing? i didnt understand it fully and would like more input if anyone has it.

I here that JRD built a pretty nasty trx 90 this summer. I believe it was for a mx racer, that may not help you pappy. But I heard it was really nice.
