I got new lower a arm bushings on the way and i just wanted to know how hard are they o remove and to put in? I know i have to un bolt the a arms and pull them away from the frame but do i have to un bolt the tirod and re move the a arm from the spindle?

you can keep the tie rods on and spinals just take the bolts out and then take the stock bushings out

yes they just slide out. the stock bushing take a little while to get out tho.

If your talking about a stock 400ex then your going to have 2 seals and a bearing in the middle.The bearing is actually a heim bearing kinda like the ones they use in aftermarket A-arms.All you have to do is pop out the seals and tap out the bearing. I used a small deep socket to get the bearing out. I also found out those darn little bearings are expensive.If you have to replace them buy new stock a-arms its actually cheaper than buying all new bearings:eek2:

Damn i just ordered the lower a arm bushingd and i almost cried when i saw the price so i got them anyway cause i need them. I never noticed that i could have bought new stock a arms. O well thanks for the help.

Check out www.atvbushings.com. They make a complete greasable urethane kit that does both upper and lower arms for about a $100.:cool:
