need help fast

my 400ex is smoking like crazy and its white smoke what would cause this i run 87 octain gas what should i do
no mods to the bike

Mine smokes like clouds and clouds.. It needs a new oil ring. Easy fix.. but yours could be different..

where is there the oil ring and could it be the gas becouse i had a full tank of 93 and then put 87 back in

hmm...it could be that you need to piston rings or valve seals...

Smokes just on start up = New valve seals

Smokes all the time = New piston rings....

maybe you didnt break in your quad right.

well i drained the gas and it had some oil in it i them put regular gas in it and it smoked for a minute (gas in the carb ) and no more smoke
