Need to build a YZF beater

Next year my cousin is gonna buy a YFZ450. I know I can beat him through the woods but I want to be able to stay next to him in the straights. I weight 165 and he weights around 300 so the weight advantage goes to me. Do you think a 426, hotcam stge 2, and a good port and polish could keep me close to him? Please let mee know so I can do this, this winter. Thanks in advance!

do that..and gear it up higher..shouldnt have a problem. i had a 416 national motor in mine..with 18' rear tires and a 36t rear sprocket..although i never actualy lined both of my quads up and did a straight line (simply becuase no one rides my **** besides me)..i could feel mey ex topping out faster, and getting up to speed faster.
