I may try to make a trip to the Badlands tomorrow (Sat. the 9th), but I would be riding alone, anyone looking for another riding partner for the day?

Join us... There will be four of us in an 03' black Hemi with a v-nose enclosed black trailer. Both will have white decals on them. There will be a blue YFZ, a yellow Z400, a blue Blaster and a black/red Blaster.

Probably get there around 9:30 or so. Parked in the lower lot near the concession area (gotta feed the machine).

Come on up and ask for Ken or Kurt. We would love to have you and it is not safe to ride alone.

hehe, i was just going to make a new thread with that same title :)

im new to about 5 forums (currently have a ds650 baja, but am looking into gettin a 450r or a tld predator)

but anyway...there are 3-4 of us coming from dekalb IL.

we will most likely be in an 04 chevy charcoal colored burban, pulling a black 16 ft. enclosed trailor.

and its hard to miss our group...because usually im the only person in the park with an orange ds650 :) (the other quads in the group will be two grizzly 660s and a blue yfz)

i have posted all over the place so i might forget what vehicles people are in and who people are (especially since im new to most of the forums) but if anybody sees me flag me down or throw a rock at me or somthin... (i would prefer the first method ;) )

and maybe we can do some riding together. (we have been there lke 6 times...so arnt experts on the place, but know our way around pretty well)

Cool, thanks for the welcome. My truck is packed and loaded to go. I'll be leaving tomorrow around 7 AM and hope to be there by 9 - 9:30. This will be my first trip there, so hopefully I won't get lost. Once again I'll be in a 92 burgandy (with silver on the bottom), extended cab silverado and a beat-up red 300ex. I'll be with my girlfriend but she doesn't have a quad and will just be along for the ride. My name is Josh, looking forward to having a good ride.

your running on saturday? we will only be there sunday....

(dont want to change your plans, but i highly stress having a riding partner at the badlands...there are some wicked climbs that you dont notice, until...well... your at the top lol.

(ive seen quite a few nasty spills at the badlands, including my own, which cost me the structural integrity of my nose (broke in in 2 places, and broke the tip off...lol)

but anyway HAVE FUN! ;) (im sure you can find someone to join up with, most everyone ive ever met there is very nice)

I will be on my 04 450 R and my buddy on his 400 Z, probably be there around 9:00 or 9:30, I haven't been there before but my buddy has, so maybe we will see some of you there ! Hopefully it won't rain ! but I don't think that will stop us anyway .:D I need to get a flag tho, do they sell them there ??

sulnz450r yes they do sell flags there, 8 or 10 bucks I think.

just a tip, buy the thin shorter flags.... when we first went we bought the thick 10 footers (truck flags) because we thought they would be more durable for only 2-3 bucks more...but they snap very easily in the woods (they dont flex at all...so they will either take ur flag mount off, or just snap the flag)
