400ex for 450r

how many people sold there 400 to get a 450r i love my 416ex but really want a 450r. it would be hard to keep both. so i was just wondering what yall did

I sold mine for a down payment on my 450.....best decision I've ever made. I think going to the 450 from a 400 is like going from a 250ex to a 400ex. Just my 2 cents, but I think others will agree. Mod your 450 a bit and you won't even believe the difference.

At first I felt bad and I got rid of my bike a while before the R came out. Im glad I did though. The 400ex doesnt compare

i tried to sell my 416ex which was sick but i ended up giving it to my sister and got a 450r, at least i don't have to see it go.

I bought a new 2003 400EX in March of 03 and sold it in December 03. Picked up the 450R in January 04. Damn good move. I don't even like riding 400's at all anymore.
