Will 450R shocks fit a 400ex?

bolting up and being right is two different things yes they will bolt up but they are not valved the same or have the same stroke. i put ELKAS off my 400 onto 450R and it was a rough ride. I think Santo is revalving and stroking them if you send them to hime to work on a 400ex
