I got a question. What is everyone problem elsepcially with the 450r and yfz450 not ahve revers they way like 350 lbs i can walk it back with my feeton the front tires easy, I pick it up and put it in my dads truck dotn even use ramps, its not heavy at all just push. and the kicer dont be a bunch of liittle *****s i can start it sitting down.

Reverse is overated... I can get turned around in a trail faster than my buddies with reverse can. It's only good if you have a 4x4 cause than you can use it if you get stuck in the mud and can claw your way out. but that's about it from my point of view

hey guys! well i have to say that anyone who has a problem with the 450R not having reverse and it being a kicker start should probably not own one. i mean come on it is easy to kick start and it only weights 350lbs in the event that it needs to be turned around there is a throttle that gives the motor gas and there is a clutch that engages the engine to turn the rear tires. what you can do is rev it a little and then turn the bars to the left or right and then let go of the clutch and spin it around. problem solved! and if you can't do that it really isn't that heavy it can easily be turned around by pushing it.

i agree, and if your worried about how it does in the mud or anything else, buy a utility.

turning around is also pretty easy if you live ijn a hilly area. i can usually just ride up the side of the hill and back down to get turned around in most of the places i ride

Reverse is a luxury and it is added weight. If I were able to save $100 on my Z to not have reverse then by-by reverse. If you don't like getting off you quad ever once in a while, you probably shouldn't buy a race quad.
