I just had a c-4 pipe and bigger main jet installed on my 250x. During my first ride following instillation, I had about a 1 mile road ride up a hill. I had it pinned in 5th gear for most of it. Just as I started to crest the hill, my quad just cut out, stopped running. I was able to start it after that though. I was wondering if the rev limiter could of caused it, or if anyone had any other possible answers?

i rev limiter just keeps the motor from blowing up. It also cuts the motor at a certian rpm, but it will not shut it off, If the hill was steep enough maybe there wasnt any gas gettin to the motor?

The hill was not too steep in my case. Actually it was leveling out.

Mine never has done that.
Sounds more like a gas problem.Maybe the float was at a wrong angle and it cut off the flow to the engine ?
