Well, the clutch is very very hard to pull on my 400ex. I lubed the cable, have a new one I tried and it's the same result. The cable is routed right and there aren't any kinks or drastic bends. As far as I know it's the stock clutch. Everybody who's rode it has said it's the worst they've ridden on. It seems to be getting worse as time goes by. Any ideas?

Mine always went hard so I kept lubing it up untill i was sick of how stiff it was and I just went out and spent 14$ on a new one and it was super easy to spend. Best 14$ I ever spent on the 400.

He doesn't need a new cable, he has one. You've made sure the clutch lever isn't binding, right? You've already made sure the cable is good so the only thing left is to tear off the sidecase and look around. I don't know what would cause that except maybe something binding up in your motor. Just look around inside, I'm sure once the side cover is off it will be obvious what is making the clutch so hard to pull.

I dont really know anything more to tell u beside what these guys have said, But u could mabey check out the clutchs and see what eveything looks like, and if that passes with an A+, i would recomend buying a new Clutch Perch, that is suposed to be easier to pull!! good luck
