Best piston with cam?

What's the best compression piston to run the hot cams Stage II? The rest of my mods are in my sig. Thanks for any help. I'd like to stay on pump gas. 93 at the highest.

I am thinking of running that same cam and going w/12.5 to 13.1. Whatever one is available.

It's a great cam... As long as your jetting's right it's gonna pull real hard from bottom to top. It puts alot more on top without losing any bottom. It's a high RPM mx cam. I'm pleased with it. I wouldn't change anything else with my motor, but after reading alot on here supposedly the full potentional of the cam isn't felt until the compression is increased. So I'll try that out I guess.

Do you know what octane you should run with those compressions to get a full burn?

With 12.5:1 (which I didnt know they made) or 13:1, 13.5:1, or 13.8:1....you're going to want to run race gas which can get $$$ but you get major performance gains!

I have the 11.5:1 JE Piston and I can still run pump gas. This piston isnt really worth the $$$ when ya can get the 13.5:1 for just about the same price.....and better performance. I'm going to upgrade to the 13.5:1 piston soon....the TRXs are fast with them!
