I'm running a +1 and am very happy with it.

Did the seat cover make it yet?

I'm running the Houser plus 1 1/4 with the long travel linkage on both of my R's.It work great on both quads,no more bucking in the rear and seems to take some of the swapping out of the rear. Also seems slightly more stable at high speeds.

I run 1.0 longer swinger with aftermarket linkage. I would say if you do not do the linkage the main thing you will notice is less wheeling. If you do the hole set-up with Holz, or Walsh you will have better motion ratio and longer travel shock. It is great.. You will appreciate it either way. I race MX and XC and it is great. Make sure you buy a top of the line swingarm. I have seen a few cheaper ones breaking (no names)..

Holz, Walsh, Houser, are all good because you will most likely crack it after a year of riding anyway and those three are great to deal with. Good luck.

Definetly helps even out the balance of the bike, less wheelying, I reccomend the linkage setup to! I run the walsh setup and its nothing short of Fantasmic ;)

less wheelie-ing? that just takes the fun out of quad riding

I bought a +1.25 swingarm and have to agree with quadjeff. It is much more stable under hard acceleration and will not wheelie unless you try to. The bucking and swaping problem was not fixed. I am going to go with the GT Thunder linkage because it will work with my swingarm, but if I had it to do over I would buy the complete Houser set up.

I would ask myself thesae two questions: How much motor work did u do or plan to do? Is wheeling a problem coming out of turns or on holeshots?

Do what is going to help your setup not everyone else's. Dig;)

I'm using a JD Performance +11/4 with Elka link and shock. Couldn't get on the gas in corners before now you can when ever you want. If your going to race MX seriously I can't see you not getting a lengthened swingarm. I've been racing a JD swingarm on a 400EX now for a couple of years with no problems, so you might check them out jdperormanceatv.com. PM me if your interested on checking out some used suspension for a 450R.

whether you have motorwork or not you should get a swinger for the R.
If i were to get a setup i'd probably get a +2 with the walsh swingarm and savior setup...
