Turbo charged 400ex

ne body seen the may dirt weels yet if you have then you would have seen the turbo charged raptor and 400ex it is bad *** if any body has the mods please post pics

That was sweet, what was the 400ex putting out 50 something HP and the rapturd had 70 something. That to much power for me.

I saw that some time ago.. Its unreal.. I couldnt even imagine what the powerband would be like...

If you dont know much about turbos Ill fill you in a little,

Lowend on turbo isnt incredible because of Turbo lag. The way a turbo works is it uses the gases from the ehaust to spool the turbo then pushes it back into the intake. At low RPMS the turbo isnt spooled up much the higher in the RPM range you go the more air the turbo pushes [boost] until it hits its max boost. Once youve reached max boost power becomes insane. On a small turbo such as the one they use for ATVs lag probably isnt that bad.

Ive never ridden on a Turbocharged ATV but if ridden in several Turbocharged cars... When boost kicks in its a rush!!!:D
