I want to sell my 1979 XR500 motor. I was going to stuff it in my 250x frame, but I cannot afford the problems it will give me. So I am either going to go back to a 250x or get a 350x motor.

Comes with stock carb with a UNI filter attached directly to it (no airbox).

I will take trades on a 250x,300ex, or 350x motor but it must be in running (or almost) condition.

This is not a rust bucket motor. The cases are painted silver and the head is painted black. It looks brand new.
