my friend wants to know what you guys think of 250r;s and if there worth it he knows that the new 450's are just as fast but he wants a 2 stroke and how good they are on gas etc etc give me all waht you guys think.

yes if he wants one they are worth it i have aone that i am rebuilding and i loved it when it ran. i rode it for 2 years on the same top end and still had god compression. i dont know how long the guy before me rode it. the only problems ive had with it have been my fault. the axle bearrings went out and cooked the carrier and i started it up for a ride last winter and didnt rejet it and melted threw the exhaust side of the piston. but for the money they are going for now they are a awsome bike if you want a 2 stroke.
